Resolves Yes if polling for provincial council elections takes place in at least one of Sri Lanka's nine provinces by December 31, 2028, as confirmed by the Election Commission of Sri Lanka. Announcing or gazetting an election without voting taking place by that date does not count. Otherwise resolves No. Provincial councils have had no elected members since their terms expired in 2017–2019.
